ENDFORCE Enterprise Provides Windows Vista Adopters Clear Path to Full Microsoft Network Access Protection Deployment

ENDFORCE Enterprise™ Only Independent Security Policy Compliance Solution to Support Microsoft Windows Vista

RSA Conference, SAN JOSE (February 15, 2006) ― ENDFORCE, a Microsoft Network Access Protection (NAP) partner, announced today that its Enterprise software is the first independent network access control solution to provide support for Microsoft Windows Vista. With ENDFORCE Enterprise™, organizations can protect their networks as they transition from their existing operating system infrastructure to Windows Vista and fully deploy NAP.

"ENDFORCE Enterprise, which is based on Microsoft technology, provides organizations with a clear strategy to immediate Network Access Protection as they move to deploy Windows Vista," said Greg Moore, chief executive officer of ENDFORCE. "Network Access Protection is a critical development in the evolution of the overall market to reduce ever-increasing threats and vulnerabilities. As a key partner and supporter of Network Access Protection, ENDFORCE is working closely with Microsoft to provide our customers the ability to most effectively protect their networks."

ENDFORCE Enterprise enforces endpoint policy compliance and offers organizations protection from non-compliant and misconfigured endpoints. It easily integrates with an organizations' infrastructure to leverage and enhance existing investments in network and security applications. By using ENDFORCE Enterprise to create and manage policies that support corporate security strategies, companies can easily and flexibly track and improve end user security compliance, ultimately reducing the severity and costs of PC-borne network attacks

NAP is a policy enforcement platform built into the Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Windows Server "Longhorn" operating systems that allows organizations to better protect network assets from unhealthy computers by enforcing compliance with network health policies

"Ensuring that users are complying with security policies to maintain a healthy computing environment is a primary challenge for administrators, especially with today's mobile and often remote work force," said Mike Schutz, group product manager, Windows Server division at Microsoft Corp. "Our work with industry leaders such as ENDFORCE is key in helping us protect our customers' critical resources from noncompliant machines while giving employees access to the computing resources they need to be effective."

ENDFORCE also announced today that it is a member of the SecureIT Alliance, a new industry consortium of software partners with products and services designed to enhance the security of the Microsoft platform. The SecureIT Alliance links members through a collaborative Web-community with the objective of providing more trustworthy computing solutions to customers worldwide.
