Guest Endpoints

ENDFORCE Enterprise provides automated protection from guest endpoints while still offering the ability for Internet access without network redesign.

The ability to prohibit access to protected corporate resources, yet still offer access to the Internet for guests regardless of where they connect inside a perimeter is the number one endpoint security issue facing most businesses. It is very common for a visiting sales person to need external network access to their e-mail or to be able to demonstrate their product. Providing the flexibility to offer this access from any port on the network and knowing that the guest endpoint is unable to introduce risk enhances business productivity and increases network security.

Often, it is not desired to do an assessment of a guest endpoint. Simply knowing it is a guest endpoint that is attempting to gain access to the network and either denying access or quarantining it to the Internet is the goal. Leveraging the existing network infrastructure, ENDFORCE Enterprise makes guest access simple to both deploy and manage without complex network redesign. Prior to permitting access, it is quickly determined that the endpoint is unknown and then a centrally-defined security policy for guests can be applied using the existing network infrastructure to enforce the policy.
